Hi everyone!
I titled my blog a BeYOUtiful you because I believe that people are beautiful if they are able to be themselves. Once the barriers are blown away and people are not trying to be what others think they should be its amazing! My hopes are to inspire others in my professional career to not only become healthy but be able to manage their stresses and incorporate physical activity and fitness into their life.
I am not new to the blogging world but have not been consistent in my blog for about a year. I really enjoy reading other people's blogs and to see their ideas.
I love the guided relaxation practice we had as its similar to one I use before bed to help calm my mind. I tend to need a guided solution to keep me focused otherwise my mind tends to wander. I look forward to our continued blog posts!
Thanks!
Melissa R.
A BeYOUtiful You
Melissa,
ReplyDeleteLet me start by saying that I love the name of you blog. What a wonderful play on words. I think one of the greatest struggles for anyone is learning and being comfortable with who you are. I am 31 years old and sometimes I feel like I really don't know exactly who I am. I also enjoyed the relaxation exercise. I feel like my mind is in constant go mode. This gave me a few minutes to really get in tune with my body and shut out all the outside noise. I look forward to seeing more in your blog and your journey to inspire others to see their BeYOUtiful you!
Hello Melissa, I too love the name of your blog! I too find that guided relaxation techniques work best for me. When I began meditating I had an awful time letting my mind be still. Through guided and mindfulness meditation I have learned to acknowledge whatever it is I am feeling at the moment and let it go. I find it is best if I start my day with guided meditation, sometimes before I even get out of bed. I have downloaded a few to my phone for ease of access.
ReplyDeleteI am new to the blogging world too. I am looking forward to having a platform to share ways of healthy living that are working for me and also hearing about what works for others.
I look forward to more of your posts!
Hi Melissa,
ReplyDeleteI love the name of your Blog! It is so clever and such a great play on words. This is my first time in the blogging world, and I'm excited to start! I really enjoyed the relaxation exercise as well. I felt very tense and stressed before I listened to it, and after I was finished I felt much more at ease. It is amazing what 15 minutes out of your day can do for your mind and body.
I look forward to reading more of your posts this term! Great to meet you!
